I would have used Cheshire in Batman Caped Crusader, who is already an Asian female villain. That would mean keeping Harliquinn non-Asian, I guess. So, your female villain line up could have been, Catwoman, Harliquinn, Poison Ivy, Cheshire, perhaps others like Talia Al Ghule, Nocturna, original villain oh and the Penguin often had female henchwomen. Oh, snap look what I did.

The think is we don't want to see Batman punching too many female villains

Anyone who has read more than about 100 comics knows only about 1 of them will be any good and stand tge test of time

Has to be about the worst click bait artical, looking for nothing but attention through saying the most controversial stupid thing. My opinion Batman has the best rouge gallery, most likely the largest, has male ones and female ones and ones in the "other" category as well. Within it, he has the most realistic ones that could be real world villians or criminals, to some of the most unrealistic, absurb comical ones as well. Spiderman is the only hero I can think of offhand that even comes close, and he be a very distant second As forchanging around the villians, and or Batman's side kick, eg Robin or Batgirl, etc, I like when they do this sometimes. Switching around the story so it a different twist on the original storyline. It just depends how and why it is done. Are you doing it to change up the story to tell a entertaining story where you don't automaticly know what going to happen or which way the story gonna go, keep the audience guessing and entertained, cause telling the same story over and over again would be boring. The problems come when how and why the change, are you just doing it for spite, a lazy gender and or race swap for some identity politics reason, eg CW Batwoman series, where it was swapped twice, and take that you misogynistic homophobic ( etc etc ) fanboys I wrecked you and your little world, na na a boo boo. That is just poor writing When done well and the character has well writing three dimensional twist that takes the character into place where you go, wow that was good take and unexpected twist did not see that coming.
